You don’t know how many expectations your big brother has to carry to move forward. Having a big brother is one of the most beautiful things.
Brother - a relation which is said to be sacred.
A brotherly relation is one in which brothers can become the most successful in life if all are united and work together as their parents taught them. Or, they can fail in life because of not cooperating with each other.
In India, from ancient times, the sacred bond of brotherhood is written in history. The Lord Shri Ram and his brothers - Lakshman, Bharat, and Shatrughna - still echo in my culture today.
They stood together with each other with unimaginable loyalty, setting a timeless example of love, unity, and brotherhood. The relation between them was so pure that people still give their example.
But nowadays, people are forgetting this beautiful bond for some money and property. It shows the failure of their parents’ teaching - that they are not able to teach their children the meaning of unity, sharing, and virtues.
Sadly, in today’s world, the sacred bond of brotherhood is fading. Stories of brothers turning against each other for property, wealth, or power are really disheartening. My heart aches every time I listen to these kinds of incidents.
But the truth is - if brothers stay strong together like a punch, then no power in this world can stop their success. They can even earn and build more than their parents did, just by remaining together.
I personally believe - ”If the father is the whole boundless sky for that child who wish to fly high in that sky, then the brothers are the branches of all those trees which lie on the ground, on which the bird (child) comes and takes rest after completing a long flight.“
These branches give shelter, support, and strength - reminding the bird that no matter how far they fly, they always have a place to return to.
In this era, when people are giving more importance to money over relations, showcasing their true desire for materialism - let’s be real and connected to our roots and teachings.
In brotherhood, there is peace. Let us teach the next generation the virtues of sharing, caring, and standing by each other strongly. No matter what happens, we choose the sacred bond of brotherhood over money and desires.
