Everyone has their own comfort place to escape from reality. The society we live in is not that soft, you know. It’s harsh most of the time.

People are running, competing, struggling… and in between all this, the mind gets tired. That’s why I don’t think there’s any harm in escaping from reality for a while. It actually makes life bearable.

For me, my escape is movies, anime, and web series. The moment I start watching, my focus shifts. I forget what’s going on outside. It feels like I am inside that world, living their life.

Sometimes I laugh with the characters, sometimes I cry, sometimes I just sit amazed at the story. After that, I feel lighter. That’s my escape.

But yeah, everyone has their own way. Some people just put on music and it works like magic for them. Earphones on, eyes closed, and boom - the noise outside is gone. For some, books are the best. A single page can take them away from reality.

Others find comfort in dancing. The energy, the moves, it makes them free. Then there are gamers. For them, the screen is another life where they can be whoever they want.

And of course, some people don’t even need an activity. They just need one person. Sitting with that person, talking, or even staying quiet feels like an escape.

Now, escaping doesn’t mean running away from life forever. It’s not about avoiding problems. It’s more like taking a small pause. Life is heavy, and if you keep carrying it without rest, it breaks you.
Just like a machine heats up if it keeps running, we also need time to cool down.

That’s where these escapes help.
I think people often misunderstand this. They feel if you are escaping, then you are not strong enough. But honestly, it’s the opposite. Escaping gives you strength. A tired mind can’t solve anything, but a refreshed one can. So that small break actually makes you stronger to face reality again.

Even when we were kids, we had escapes. Playing outside, watching cartoons, coloring with crayons - those were our ways. As we grow older, these things change, but the need for an escape never goes away.
Maybe now it’s Netflix, maybe music, maybe sitting with a friend. It doesn’t matter what it is, as long as it makes you feel calm inside.

In my view, everyone should have their own comfort escape. Without it, life feels like a never-ending road with no rest stops. And no one can travel like that.
Even small things work - like a walk in the evening, watching the sky, or just lying on your bed doing nothing. Escaping doesn’t have to be fancy. It just has to give you peace.

At the end of the day, escaping from reality is not a weakness. It’s self-care. It’s knowing when your mind needs a pause. Everyone has a different way - some watch movies, some listen to songs, some talk to that one

person who makes them feel safe.
And honestly, that’s fine. Because in today’s world, where things are fast and harsh, a little escape is not just wanted, it’s needed.
