Airport always felt different to me. Not just a place of flights, but something more. Whenever I think of it, I imagine it as a calm and precious place where stars land.

A place where hopes keep blinking like the runway lights, where people find their destinations and also meet their loved ones. It feels like a place that holds so many emotions together at one time.

I still remember my first flight. I was nervous and curious. My eyes were going everywhere, looking at every corner of the airport. The sounds, the people, the announcements, everything felt new. My heart was beating fast.

Then I turned back and looked through the big glass wall at the runway. An aircraft was coming down, about to land. The lights, the sound, the way it touched the ground - it caught me. I just stood there staring.

For some reason, all my nervousness went away in that moment. It felt peaceful. I don’t know why, but it felt really beautiful. That memory has stayed with me even today.

And yes, airports look shiny and all, but there are people working behind every part of it. From the ones moving luggage to the ones cleaning the floors, the ones checking security, the engineers, the crew - everyone.

Most of us don’t notice them but without them nothing will run. They are always there, day and night, keeping the place alive. Sometimes when I think of the airport, I don’t just think of flights, I think of those people too.

Airports are full of emotions. You see people crying while saying goodbye, and you also see the same happiness when someone finally arrives. Families waiting, kids running around, lovers holding hands tightly, elders sitting quietly and watching.

Everyone has a reason to be there, a story in their bag. And all of that meets at one place, the airport. That’s what makes it special.
At night, the airport looks even more alive.

If you ever want to see stars on earth, just look at the flights taking off and landing in the dark sky with all those lights blinking.
It feels like stars moving. Of course you need a ticket to even step inside, you can’t just walk in, but those who sit there and see it know what I mean.

For me, airport is not just travel. It’s more than that. It is where emotions breathe. It is where people wait, meet, laugh, cry, and carry memories with them.

Whenever I think about it, I don’t just see buildings and flights. I see people. I see feelings. I see life moving. That’s why for me, airport will never be just an airport. It will always be a place where something inside me feels alive.
