What not to eat:
Do not consume the things mentioned in this pamphlet to gain weight. Potatoes, paneer, mawa, sweets, fried foods, biscuits-bread etc. bakery products, fermented foods, marmalade, jam, ketchup, chocolates, fast food, junk food, soft drinks, ice cream, sherbet etc. which contain more oil , ghee, sugar, wheat flour/maida have been used.

What are the benefits of doing pranayama?
Pranayama between 3 to 5 in the morning (this balances the work of the endocrine glands and controls weight). Sun bath, sun salutation, running or walking exercise and asana. Increase physical work, avoid excess sleep. If possible, eat only one meal a day between 9 to 11 in the morning, if necessary, have a snack between 5 to 7 in the evening.
What can I eat everyday to lose weight?
Low-greasy, bitter, astringent, low-sugar (low carbohydrate), high-fibre and low-calorie foods, such as barley, jowar, bajra, sawan, kangni, moong, lentils, moth, arhar, bitter gourd, fenugreek and Fenugreek seeds, drumstick, radish and radish leaves, turmeric, dry ginger, sorghum seeds, puffed rice, roasted gram, cowpea etc. Drink hot water in between and after meals, you can take cow’s milk (non-creamy).
What not to do for weight loss?
Do not sleep at all during the day. Avoid comfort, pleasantness, continuous sitting at one place, gluttony. Don’t sleep till late in the morning.

Eat food slowly and chew it a lot. Walk for a while after meals, sit in Vajrasana.

Juice of 1 lemon and 25 basil leaves in 1 glass of lukewarm water or 15-20 ml. Mix basil extract and 1 teaspoon honey and take it 2-3 days a week (except Sunday) in the morning on an empty stomach.
Helpful medicines for weight loss: Triphala Rasayana Kalp, Shodhankalp Churna, Pancharas, Harad Churna or Tablet, Triphala Churna or Tablet, Cow Urine or Cow Urine Extract, Gojharan Vati, Giloyadi Extract. (These are available at the Satsahitya Seva Kendras of the ashram.) According to Ayurveda, consumption of pure sesame oil increases fat in lean body and reduces fat in fat body, that is, it is helpful in both weight gain and loss.
